I think Porsche's logo is simply brilliant as it is vibrant and boasts the colours that symbolize quality. With gold being the forefront symbolizing prestige and red being an emotionally intense colour as it is associated with war, strength, passion and determination and black promoting power an elegance. It's no secret that Porsche is a luxurious brand. The text Stuttgart is the capital of the Free people's state in Württemberg, Germany which also had horses on its coat of arms. I believe the horses also symbolize horsepower as it is how car power is measured.The shape is highly inspired by the Stuttgart coat of arms which can be seen below.
